Carry valuable expertise forward.
Your most experienced people know what matters, what changes a decision, and what to do when the work isn't routine. I work with organizations to preserve that expertise, make it useful to others, and, when developing people is the goal, build the judgment to apply it.

My perspective
Preserve expertise. Develop capability.
Making expertise available helps people find answers and understand how work is done. Developing capability goes further. It gives people opportunities to understand the reasoning behind the work, recognize when circumstances change, apply judgment, and make sound decisions.
Current focus
- 01
The judgment behind the work.
Expertise is more than knowing the steps. It includes noticing what matters, understanding why a choice makes sense, and recognizing when the usual approach may not fit.
- 02
Preserve what makes expertise useful.
The goal is not just to save an answer or procedure. It is to preserve enough context, reasoning, and limits for someone else to understand when and how to use it.
- 03
Build capability through practice.
When developing people is the goal, they need opportunities to apply what they have learned, exercise judgment in realistic situations, and show what they can do.
What I do
The same expertise can be made easy to find or turned into skills people build. I help with both.
Make expertise available
Guides and job aids
I capture the steps, context, and reasoning behind the work in resources people can use on the job.
Develop capability
Courses and scenarios
I build custom learning around real workplace decisions, with practice and feedback that explains why a response makes sense.
Deliver and track it
Learning systems
I build systems that deliver courses, manage assignments, and keep training records.
Who this is for
For organizations with expertise worth carrying forward.
You may already know where experience and judgment make the difference, even if it's hard to explain why. Maybe there's a person or team you trust, or a kind of work where good judgment matters most. I help uncover the reasoning, context, and judgment behind that expertise so it can be preserved, shared, or used to build capability in others. This often matters during onboarding, cross-training, succession, and role transitions.

If an experienced colleague is retiring, a role is changing, or you have expertise that's hard to put into words, I'd be glad to talk it through. Or if you'd just like to share a perspective, that's welcome too.
